An area of outstanding natural beauty rising above the Somerset Levels, the Mendip Hills offer a stunning landscape to explore, featuring dramatic gorges and ancient woodlands. The limestone hills, along with the lake views of Chew Valley, provide steep slopes and undulating plateaus for exploration. There are over 440 km of public rights of way in the Mendip Hills, which include circular walks and long-distance trails, such as the 50-mile Mendip Way.
