Hauser & Wirth Somerset is a pioneering world-class gallery and multipurpose arts centre. It is home to a vibrant programme of contemporary art exhibitions, outdoor sculptures, events and learning activities. The gallery is free to attend, with all donations distributed between local charitable partners.

Centred around a core belief in conservation, learning and sustainability, Hauser & Wirth Somerset offers a wide variety of workshops, talks and screenings, alongside learning resources and unique partnerships with local schools, universities and institutions. The gallery supports an immersive artist-in-residence programme, encouraging international artists to draw inspiration from the surrounding rural landscape and local community.

Since opening in 2014, Hauser & Wirth Somerset has welcomed over 1 million visitors and led the way for further art centres in Menorca and Los Angeles.

‘GRUPPENAUSSTELLUNG – An Exhibition in Three Acts’ is on view at Hauser & Wirth Somerset until Monday 1 January 2024.

The multidisciplinary group exhibition celebrates the gallery’s Swiss heritage in a site-wide takeover, featuring over 20 international artists. Immersive installations, iconic video works and open-air sculpture will extend across all five galleries and outdoor spaces, in addition to works on view within the Roth Bar & Grill.

Alongside the exhibition, take part in a new Education Lab inspired by the sustainable practices of artists, Mika Rottenberg and Pipilotti Rist, developed by the gallery’s green teams globally. A collaborative events programme will be running throughout the summer for all ages.
