Yoga, Reflexology – Nicola

Nicola qualified with the British Reflexology Association in 2007 and went on to qualify as a yoga instructor in 2013. Nicola runs many local classes for adults but she is also qualified to teach yoga to children. Yoga in the Farmhouse is practiced in the living room under the Pipilotti Rist installation. The classes focus on Hatha Yoga combined with other favourite Yoga poses from other branches.

Attention to the heart, the breath and one’s own awareness is the foundation to each class.   In fine weather the class can take place in the private garden. Maximum number of 7 in each class.

£85 – one hour class.

Pilates – Alice

Alice trained as an actor at the prestigious Drama Centre London, learning about movement and communicating with the body through various techniques such as Alexander, Ballet and Pilates. This is where her increased knowledge became a passion in the effects of balancing out the body, increasing its strength, flexibility and agility to gain its optimum use in everyday life.

Mats can be provided if required and classes will take place in our garden, or dining area, depending on the weather.

Individual sessions – £45

Couples – £60

Clay Pigeon Shoot – Roe Norman

Under the expert eye of Roe Norman, take a couple of hours to hone your shooting skills.  Roe is based at his farm a few miles outside of Bruton. He has been shooting for 35 years and is a qualified deer stalker as well as having a qualification in gun fitting. He will offer tuition using a variety of targets and adapt the session to your experience and ability. A maximum of a 30 shot limit per person.

A 2 hour session – £55 per head – Maximum number of people is 12. (If only four people the cost is £60 per head, four person minimum)

A 1 hour session – £45 per head

The Farm is very close to The Bull Inn, sister restaurant of Roth Bar & Grill. After shooting it is the perfect place to relax in the beer garden in summer or by the open fire in winter.

Immerse yourself in the current exhibition with the guidance of a member of the Gallery’s Education team. Within an hours tour you will get to know the artists, their work and inspiration.

Family Saturdays – Hauser & Wirth Gallery

Hauser & Wirth Somerset invites families into the gallery for Family Saturday on the first Saturday of every month. These free sessions offer families a unique experience of art, design and nature.

Hauser & Wirth Events & Workshops

Throughout the year the Gallery offer special practical workshops, often related to the current exhibition. For example there has been a ‘Drawing From Film’ workshop with Catherine Goodman, also an experimental print making workshop.
